On the 15th of October, EHH, together with Le Dimore del Quartetto and MERITA partners, held an online networking meeting for all interested in learning more about the project and its results. On this occasion, we delved into the organisation of concerts and sustainable music events in historic houses, and participants had the chance to hear from owners who have already opened their properties for this purpose.
Speakers from MERITA partners Diletta Paoletti (EuAboutLab), Wiktoria Bloch and Karolina Sajniak-Drzyzga (Julian Cochran Foundation), Cesare Buffone (Punto3), and Elisabeth Gierveld (SQBA), as well as private historic house owners Katerina Sostok (Schloss Knezice), Pawel Esse (Somianka Manor), and John Reisky de Dubnic (Vilemov Castle), shared their experiences within the project and their insights on hosting concerts in their properties.
Each panel – ‘Inside the MERITA project: the impact of artistic residencies in historic houses’ and ‘Event organisation and the combination with chamber music concerts’ – ended with a Q&A session, where attendees had the opportunity to ask questions about the MERITA project.
